The “One and Only” International Music Market in Japan!

About TIMM

The 16th Tokyo International Music Market will be held in Shibuya on October 28, 29, and 30.

The Tokyo International Music Market (TIMM) will take place in Shibuya, the bustling Tokyo pop culture center and soon-to-be Japan’s IT hub. With over 6,000 participants last year, the 16th edition this year will consist of three main components: marketplace / business matching events, seminar panels, and live music showcases. TIMM will continue to focus on music and will collaborate with the film and anime industries to bring together the international creative contents community.

Marketplace / business matching events

Marketplace / business matching events will be held at Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu on October 28 and 29. 48 exhibitors and hundreds of international professionals from more than 15 countries /regions participated last year. Free meeting space will be provided for exhibitors and buyers at the venue.

Business Seminars

Business seminars and keynotes will take place at Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyo on October 28 and 29. 10 seminars were held last year and once again, a wide range of panels with themes ranging from up-to-date music industry trends to new technologies are being planned for this year.

Live Music Showcase

The live music showcase will take place at Veats Shibuya and TSUTAYA-O-EAST on October 28, 29, and 30. A perfect opportunity to see and experience actual live performances by upcoming artists looking to take their careers global. The artist line-up will be announced in early August.

Opening Party

International buyers and exhibitors are invited to attend the opening party immediately following the live music showcase on October 28. The perfect opportunity to connect and network with the TIMM delegates.
